OUTREACH UTREACH the newsletter of we 7 57emod&a etucfo 6 t sa&4n4t sfoiitwti tiftdetcutm &44wd&9 mtmnffmat MARCUS BACH founder no 194 THE LETTER dear friend of the fellowship several weeks ago I 1 filled an assignment as the kickoff kick off speaker for the annual congress of the international NEW THOUGHT ALLIANCE INTA is a prodigious confraternity of prominent metaphysical movements and this was its 64th yearly meeting held on this occasion at the hyatt regency in phoenix arizona some 1200 delegates from interfaith metaphysical centers leaders and laity braved the burning summer heat to review their accomplishments and recharge their faith I 1 have spoken for this convention of truth students in other years but this time the theme for their gettogether get together was unique and provocative the title was bannered in giant letters across the platform on the convention hall LET YOUR SON SHINE I 1 had been living with this theme for the past month or more ever since the INTA committee selected it asked me to enlarge upon it from the standpoint of my research and share any ideas about what I 1 felt might be new in new thought I 1 like challenges I 1 also like homonyms words that sound the same but have different meanings as SUN and SON for example or WEATHER and WHETHER or BIRTH and BERTH or BREAD and BRED or EYE and 1 I but most of all I 1 like appreciative audiences who bring out the best in a speakers heart and mind blaine mays president of INTA was more than generous in his introduction of me and spoke highly of our fellowship for spiritual understanding I 1 can think of no better reciprocity at the moment than to devote this OUTREACH issue to highlights from this opening address and I 1 know of no better way than to tell you our FSU family that you were with me there in spirit so lets turn to the LESSON and the LEARNING as we reflect on new thoughts for NEW THOUGHT in a new age as we let our SON shine and as we welcome the light along the way of spiritual understanding yours for the fellowship
