| Biographical Note | Mormon farmer and artist who lived in Payson, Utah. Served a mission to the Southern States from 1881 to 1883 and also in South and Central America from 1900 to 1902. On the second mission, Fairbanks accompanied the "Cluff" expedition led by Benjamin Cluff, president of the Brigham Young Academy in Provo, Utah, to find evidence supporting the historicity of the Book of Mormon. |
