I do not give a reporting here of my Progenitors as their Geneology will be found on [pa]geX752 At an early age my parents taught us to work for they were poor and most of our Family had [w]ork when very young I never went t to a Sunday [school] where I learn't to read a nine years I went into of I Hitchcock & Co Manuf I went of errand. I lived their about 12 months and during that time learned to write my father also was employed in the same Firm as a Weaver at the experation of that time the Firm failed when I became employed by John Sheldon Merchant with who I
