Schwob doit faire une composition d'histoire. Il est troisième en mathématiques, troisième en latin, et premier en anglais. Il n'a pas le temps de lire Le Phare. Schwob has to prepare a lengthy History composition. He acknowledges his mother's request for his school standing: he is third in Math, third in Latin, and first in English. Schwob's father has been ill with a cold, but his stomach is better. Lately, Schwob is so busy he lacks the time to read Le Phare. |
