Maurice a dîné avec Schwob hier. Maurice a passé un examen de mécanique. Il pense avoir reçu un 10 ou 11 au maximum. Il passera en physique la prochaine fois. Schwob a hâte pour les vacances de Pâques et pour l'occasion de revoir sa famille. Il a ses notes : 9 pour les leçons, 8 pour les devoirs, et 9 pour la conduite. M. Boudors a complimenté Schwob auprès du proviseur. Maurice dined with Schwob last night. Maurice took an exam in mécanique (engineering) which he thinks he received a 10 or 11 on. Next time, he'll have an exam in physics. Schwob is looking forward to Easter break and seeing his family again. He received his grades the previous Saturday: 9 for his lessons, 8 for his homework, and 9 for behavior. M. Boudors complimented Schwob to the headmaster. |

Paris ce 30 mars 1882 Mon cher Papa bien-aimé, ta lettre d'hier m'a fait bien grand plaisir, comme tu peux penser; mais j'es- pérais que cela ne dispenserait pas maman de m'écrire, comme d'habitude, et je n'ai pas reçu de lettre ce matin.
