The Mormons are very much opposed to the bill of Senator Frelingbuysen, which, the judiciary committee have decided upon It puts the drawing of juries into the hands of United States officials entirely, but does not, of course, require the exclusion of Mormons as such from the jury list, except that belief in polygamy is cause of challenge in the case of trials for such an offence. Mr. Pool's proposition for legitimatizm offspring and marriages as far as the past is concern-ed, is regarded by the committee as inad missable.
