| Biographical Note | Arizona politician, office clerk, rancher, and Mormon Church missionary. Osmer Flake was born in Beaver, Utah and went to Snowflake, Arizona when his family settled there. He married twice and raised a family by each wife. Osmer was an Arizona politician who lived in Snowflake and Phoenix. He served on three missions for the Mormon church including two years in the Southern State's Mission (1897-1900) where he worked largely in the state of Mississippi. His first wife Elsie kept a diary when he was serving on the latter mission. |
