Description |
Adoration scene with Mary and the very small baby Jesus are on the left and the three Magi worship from the right. A crowd of many more figures behind the Magi wait to greet the child. The details are lush and decorative and the strange setting combines an ornamented structure and a ruined building in the background. The symbolism, rich colors, intricate detailing and linear style all reflect characteristics of the Renaissance style in the North. |
