THE MORMONS.—GOV. Ford appears deter-mined to keep up the excitement between the citizens of Hancock County and the Mormons, and if a collision does not ensue, it will certainly not be his fault.
By the officers of the steamer Osprey, which left Nauvoo on Saturday evening last, we learn that a part of the Nauvoo Legion were being armed, and were to march to Carthage, in com-pliance with an order from the Governor. For what purpose was not positively known, but was supposed to relate to circumstances grow-ing out of the trial of Sharp and others, which is now progressing at that place.
