FROM NAUVOO.—Hancock Co., Ill, Oct. 28. The Circuit Court, after adjournment on Saturday last, 25th inst,, went to Nauvoo, to pass a day, in company with the commander of the State Guard at Carthage. While there, a U. S. warrant arriyed for the arrest of the Twelve, and a demand was made upon the State Guard for assistance. Major Warren was inclined to make the attempt, but on consultation it was agreed that the probable result would be a general massacre of guard and court, and the project was abandoned. The Mor-mon Legion is the terror of the whole region.—Cor. of Jour, of Com.
