The above is the substance of a des-patch from Utah. This is a mighty poor way of trying even so bad a man as Brigham Young. If so valuable a witness has been found, why not have Young arrested and confronted by this individual who knows all about it? The country is becoming heartily sick and tired of this everlasting turning up of witnesses who know enough to hang Brigham Young, but who somehow or other are never brought face to face with the man they accuse. Months and months ago the United States officials in Utah publicly declared that they had evidence in abundance to es-tablish all, and more than all, that has ever been charged against the old Mormon leader, but no proceedings have been commenced. It is time that something be done to bring him to justice, or to cease turning up "wit-nesses."
