END OF THE MORMON WAR.
By the Western Mail, which arrived at Balti-more on Saturday afternoon, we learn that the civil war, recently raging in Mormondon, has been brought to a close by the surrender of the Mormoes, and the peaceable marching into and taking possession of Nauvoo, by the Anti-Mor-mons. The Mormons have agreed to evacuate the city immediately, leaving a committee of five, who are to take charge of the property, and set-tle the business of their friends.
It is a source of great gratification to learn that no property was destroyed.
The Mormons were preparing to fulfil their terms of capitulation by leaving the city and the state as soon as possible.
