The Mormon's Confession.
BEAVER, Utah, July 20.—The substance of John D. Lee's confession, is that thirty-five Mormons, with the assistance of a large number of Indians, decoyed the emigrants from their entrenchments by a flag of truce; that all were murdered except seventeen children; that deed was done under the or-ders of the leaders of the Mormon church; that he took the news of the massacre to Brigham Young, who deplored the transac-tion and said it would bring disaster on the the people. The statement of Lee so far as known, only confirms the previous reports in regard to the massacre.
