Description	On this street is the building that once housed the Warsaw Signal, a newspaper operated by Thomas Sharp, a bitter enemy of the Prophet Joseph Smith. The Warsaw Signal presented many articles which inflamed the citizenry against the Prophet and the Church. Near the building that housed the Warsaw Signal is the Warsaw Flemming Tavern, where a number of militia members met following the death of the Propeht Joseph Smith and his brother, Hyrum in nearby Carthage, Illinois.
