Description	As the pioneer emigrants headed west, they would use various geographical landmarks to guide them. One such feature was known as Pilot Butte. This natural landmark can be seen from Wyoming SR 28 between Farson and the Green River. The marker here is situated at a site from which Pilot Butte can be seen.
