Summary	An account of the events which led to the arrest of James J. Strang. This article, reprinted from the Detroit Daily Advertiser, prints the text of a letter from Eri James Moore, Justice of the Peace. Moore asserts that he was threatened while trying to deliver the U.S. mail. He further accuses Strang of ordering his followers to spread out throughout the nation and steal, burn and plunder "everything they can lay their hands on."
