Title	About the Mormons
Summary	An anonymous letter relating the depraved and lawless condition among the Mormons in Utah. Reprinted from the St. Louis Intelligencer. The letter is prefaced with a disclaimer that "We always receive with much distrust statements calculated to bring into odium an entire religious sect." The introduction goes on to say that were it not for the "unimpeachable character of the gentleman who penned it" we would not print it. The introduction then admonishes the reader to pay special attention to what is written about Brigham Young. As the letter is not signed we have no idea who the gentleman is who wrote the letter.
