ProvenanceH. H. Tammen was a publisher who purchased or somehowacquired photographs from various photographers and madepost cards from the images. One of the largest publishersof postcards in Colorado was the H. H. Tammen Curio Company,located on 1516 Arapahoe Street. The company owned andoperated by H. H. Tammen, Carl Litzenberger and Joseph Coxopened its doors for business in 1896 and closed them in1953.
